- Trapezoidal Design: The trapezoid design of this pet fence can better keep standing and it is not easy to overturn, preventing pets from climbing and escaping.
- Light Weigh & Portable: When you go camping with your dogs and cat. In the evenings when your sit outside had to be on a leash. Now he has he own space to enjoy his time outside without a harness and leash. The playpen is well made, light weight and folds up so it takes up very little space…perfect for camping. The bottom is removable so gets to have his feet in the grass, sand, etc.
- Zippered Opening Design: The top zipper allows you to easily place fresh water, or toys. It provides easy access. You was able to keep him safely contained when you wasn’t able to monitor him. It’s also nice for outdoor use if you wanted to place the enclosure on your lawn.
- Strong and Sturdy: Pet playpen is made of 100% polyester 600D oxford and anti-tear sturdy net. With steel frame and nylon zipper, your whole outside pet appears a strong castle.
- Multipurpose：You can also turn this into a ball pit for your pet (or human kid). Unzip the top, add in a few packs of those plastic balls, and watch them play. Since the cover zips on, your can set this on its side out of the way without any of the balls escaping.

I’m so happy with this! My cat hurt his hip, and he hides under the sofa, making it super hard to give him meds. This thing keeps him from hiding and gives him enough space to chill. It’s well-made and well-thought-out. Easy to set up. My cat is 12 lbs, and he has a ton of space. Light weight and pretty sturdy.

My cat broke his leg and needs to avoid jumping while his leg heals. It’s been 3 months already and this ‘cubby house/tent’ has been his new home and he loooves it! It’s very durable and easy to clean and move around. We ended up buying 1 more and my other cat and dog both love it too! Both my cats are able to sleep in 1 cubby house at night with the kitty litter box inside. It’s absolutely purrfect!

my cat broke two of her metatarsal bones and had to live in a cage for six weeks. this is large enough to accommodate a small scratching post, medium to large bed and had space for her to stretch. my favorite feature was the separate space for litter box so she wasn’t right on top of her litter box. very easy to clean. one downside is she had an accident and urinated over litter box edge and that smell is difficult to remove so i will likely purchase another if i need to in the future. just put a puppy pad under litter box and you won’t have to deal with that. however the tent did keep most of the urine so it barely bled onto my carpet which was nice. the puppy pad would have absorbed everything tho so just don’t make that mistake. she was very comfortable for all six weeks of living in here. it is very sturdy and easy to move around. the zippers are high quality. 10/10 would recommend this product for any cat owner who has an injured/recovering cat. i did end up putting a bed almost double the size pictured and she still had room to move around.

Best soft-sided cage I could find (& I looked at many) for a cat recovering from surgery! When my senior cat had to wear a cone & be contained for a month following a major surgery, this tent-like cage served as a cozy yet sturdy cage for his recovery. It’s so roomy that I could easily fit a bed, large stuffed animal (for comfort), & a soft bath mat in the main compartment, with plenty of room for him to sleep, eat, & even play. I couldn’t believe how roomy & sturdy it was. The smaller tent fits a full size litter box that my chonky boy had plenty of room to stand up in & scratch around in while using the box. The litter box section has a special opening for easy cleaning! There’s a short tunnel that connects the 2 compartments & it’s wide enough to accommodate a cone. While his recovery was not easy, he really seemed to feel safe & cozy in his little tent. Now that his recovery is over, he still likes to sleep in it. I guess it made him feel safe during a traumatic time. It’s sturdy (just be sure to trim their claws as they will try to scratch their way out at first, although the mesh seems very sturdy & held up well) & also very easy to assemble (2 small discs that pop open to full size tents, then you zipper them together). Other reviews comment how difficult it is to squash it back down to put away for storage…I haven’t tried this yet but it does seem like it will be harder to put away than it was to assemble. But for an emergency medical situation, the ease of assembly was more important to me than dealing with putting it away later. The zippers are very sturdy (I can’t even tell you how many times I must have opened & closed them over the last month & they never jammed). It’s overall very secure & my kitty was not able to escape (except for one time when I accidentally left one part of the main flap open when cleaning his litter box, which was my fault & not a flaw in the design). I honestly can’t recommend this cage enough. It got me & my baby safely through a very difficult time. I even sent the link to the surgeon so they can recommend to others. As for keeping clean, be proactive & put wee wee pads on the floor of both compartments before you put in the bed, blankets, litter box, food dish, etc…just for your peace of mind in case of spillage or accidents. I put pads underneath both tents as well, just for an added layer of protection. Litter will be scattered during normal use, but can be swept up or vacuumed. Great product that really did everything I needed it to do in a very challenging situation.

Extemely pleased with the Tenrai Cat Playpen, Trapezoidal Design. I needed the playpen urgently and it arrived overnight. It was seamless to set set up and our cat immediately took to it. I am very pleased with how roomy it is – it allows room for the cat to move around and she loves to nap in it (which is a great review in itself). It’s well made, sturdy in design and easy to use zip closures. We’ve had it for several months now and have had no issues with it. It will be a great product to travel with our cat. I will note that if you plan to travel with it, you will need to take the cat out prior to picking the playpen up to move it because the floor is not a solid surface.

I travelled cross country with my two cats inside this housing. It was the only one I could find that had a separate, attached, compartment for the litter box. It worked really well as there was plenty of room for both cats and a spill-proof water bowl. One of my cats tried to escape one day but was not able to either bite or claw her way out. These are all the positives. However, the doors are all located in the wrong place. The ONLY way you can fit this in an average sized auto is to fold down the seats and place the litter compartment on the seat back and the larger condo facing the rear. That leaves the openings entirely on the wrong side. The opening on the large condo should be facing the rear towards the trunk door, not sideways, which is difficult to reach if you have other items loaded in the car. And the opening for the litter compartment should be facing the left by the car door, with an additional one on the right in case a passenger in the rear wants to open it from the inside. For me to unload the litter box I had to crawl over others items in the car to get to the opening or unzip the attached condo to get to the litter box from the door side. With those simple changes this would be a ten-star product. I hope they are reading these reviews.

My cat broke a bone in her paw and needed a splint with cast (and a cone). I thought I’d try and let her roam freely around my condo since she was already miserable enough. But she wouldn’t stop jumping onto high surfaces, and I was worried she was going to further hurt herself. I bought this playpen over others because it has the separate attachment for the litter box. It’s worked great so far. My cat has calmed down a lot and will actually rest now. The playpen was easy to set up (it literally unfolded itself) and the zippers are conveniently placed for giving her new food, water, and litter. I’m confident I can fold it up for storage once I no longer need it anymore.

This is great ! So well made and engineered.
Our kitty feels so safe ! We keep it in the living room so that she can get used to it before we try it in the car. We are hoping it will make a good traveling tent for her.
Its is super easy to put up and twist and fold back down for storage. I had to watch the Tenrai video a few times to understand how to do that, it’s very much like a pop up tent. Absolutely perfectly constructed. The zips, the stitching is just perfect. We are all very happy with it !
