Extremely useful for long waits at the Airport. For that: 5 stars. My cat in one year has flown 46 flights so far, international itineraries (Europe mostly). This catio made a huge difference for the comfort of my cat. The problem is folding it back: it is impossible to fold it the way it came brand new. For this: 1 star. After reading all the reviews, when I received the item I made a video unfolding the catio, and then I edited it into a new video backwards… no way… no way!!! The videos of the store and the printed instructions do not work. So I try my best, but never as small and flat as when I received it.

Exactly what we needed when a 3 week old kitten was left at our door.
It’s a great size to use outside for an adult cat, but it’s a perfect “ kitten castle” to use in the house. She has enough space to run and play with the added tunnel. We use the tall side for food and her bed and the shorter side for her litter boxes. Throw a few toys in the tunnel and it’s all she needs.
For adult cats, you’d want to put the litter cox in the taller side as the short side really isn’t tall enough for a full size litter box and the height of bigger cats.
The ONLY down side is if you don’t connect the tunnel, there are 2 large openings.
I contacted the company and as of right now, they don’t offer accessories to close off the openings to be able to use the structure without the tunnel.
Having accessories to close those openings and be able to use the structure without the tunnel would only make this product more versatile.
Hopefully this is something they will work on and allow us to purchase these in the future.
Great quality, lightweight but sturdy, can be used inside and outside, smooth zippers, easy to assemble. Unsure how easy it will be to fold it up, but that is a review for a later date.

Easy assembly and well built. Our two kittens loved it immediately. After several months use, our young furbabies still use it everyday. Just an excellent value.

Very nice, affordable set up. Bought for a geriatric cat who just needs some confinement at night. Be warned though that the bottom of the pen is not at all water resistant, so additional barriers may be necessary for accidents. I can also happily report that even in the event of accidents it’s very easy to clean. Fits a small litterbox and food/water dishes very easily and it’s given such peace of mind.

Let me start with the fact I usually don’t write reviews. I absolutely had to write a positive review for how pleased I am with this product. I wasn’t sure how this material would holdup with two- 9 week old kittens. This play tent is AMAZING. My kittens have used it for the majority of their play time EVERYDAY for a little over 3 weeks. This play-tent is by far their greatest source of entertainment – (for me and them)! They jump off my couch and completely land on this tent and it pops right back in place. They play with each other through the mesh tunnel and at this point, there is not one tear or hole!!! My fur babies LOVE jumping in and out of the section that can be unzipped, most of the time, landing half in and out, leveling it to the floor, again it just pops back into place. I love the option to place them in and zip it up to get something accomplished without little helpers. This is a purchase I’m SO glad I made. 100% recommend, sit back and be entertained!

It is a good value as it is quite large. It is a little flimsy and the zippers are too. It takes up a lot of my living room. So far my kitty only likes the biggest part and only if the “door” is open so he’s not trapped. I need him to be in it totally with the “doors” shut so my other kitty can get used to him. It’s been a big problem trying to integrate them. I’m hoping it holds up. It has plenty of space for my kitty which is what I needed.

I use this in my room for my 2 kittens, to keep them out of a trouble overnight when I’m sleeping. At the time of my 4 star review, there were about 4 months old. The edit to a 3 star, they were about 7 months old.
This product works well for the most part.
Starting with the bad:
– Some of the wire by the tunnel’s zipper connector (to the main part of the product) has sprung free from its containment. I have hooked it back into the mesh, to avoid potential cat injuries. It does semi-regularly work its way back out though. I believe it may have been freed from its containment by rambunctious kittens.
– I would not recommend this for use outside. I once put a kitten in here for timeout purposes, and they broke free through the big zipper door. To its credit, the zipper did not fully break off, so I could fix it, but the teeth seal was broken.
– The shorter portion’s mesh tears easily and has required some repairs, including separating from the rest of the material, leading to the zipper sliding off, and me having to rethread the zipper back on.
– Litter debris will get crushed into the grey material and stain.
– If you put a water dish in, make sure you have a mat under the playpen to avoid your flooring from getting soaked (cats constantly splash their water everywhere)
Good things:
– The bigger part, with the raised “ceiling” and zipper door is big enough for an XL Stainless Steel Amazon litter box
– My kittens like to sleep in the tunnel, so I was able to place some fleece blankets for coziness
– The zipper being placed as a lid in the shorter portion is nice, because I can put my kittens in for night, and holding the flap in place while I zip it closed – prevents escapes.
– Also plenty of room in that shorter portion for a water dish and food dishes.
– Assembly was a little awkward with zipping the tunnels on, but it wasn’t too difficult
I’ll be waiting until they’re older to finally break it back down, but from other reviews, that may serve to be a bit of a trial.
