I got my bag in today. Reading other reviews I decided to sort through it. Using a holed pizza pan and a bucket, I went through the bag and sorted out non-coral items. In the end i ended up with about 5-8 pebbles, 3 leaf veins, and 2 strands of thread (most likely from the bags they transport these in bulk). Only about half a handful fell through the 1/4″ holes in the pizza pan. I then rinsed in RO/DI… the water did not get too cloudy. Overall, good quality.

I’ve been using it for years without any complaints. Well balanced and easily absorb by corals.

Good quality material… I use it in to buffer the water leaving my sulphur denitrator. To do this I had to crush it into a finer pieces, but it works well. P&P is expensive as it comes from the US.
