   These feeding tweezers aren’t the strongest but I don’t like the metal ones for my geckos. The seller was great, got it on time.

   I thought these would be a good replacement for my broken plastic tongs, and they are. One of my leopard geckos will only eat from tongs and he’s an aggressive eater, so metal wouldn’t do. His old tongs were a bright yellow which made it very easy for him to see in the dim evening light. I’d hoped the glow in the dark feature would be just as bright. I leave them in the bright sunny windowsill when not in use, so that’s basically 99% of the time. Well, they don’t glow in the dark. Being almost clear, it’s not so easy for my leo to see them and recognize it’s food time. They do work and are sturdy…I just need to make sure I turn on a brighter light at feeding time.

   Love these for my Geckos feeding, I like how there gentle if the Geckos are being tong fed. There great for grabbing the mealworms/black soldier fly larvas/crickets etc. out of the containers. A cool feature is they glow in the dark but most importantly in my opinion is that I feel comfortable letting my leopard geckos grab bugs from these and not worrying about them hurting there mouths.

   I originally got these for feeding crickets to my gargoyle gecko. They are fairly short, but they work so stinking well, I can’t complain. They are well rounded and soft. I never worried about my gecko hurting himself while grabbing his food. They also have a bumper inside and are just flexible enough to get a good grip while keeping you from crushing an insect by accident. That said, I did have a psychotic cricket rip one of its legs off to get free of them. So that can happen, but it wasn’t the tongs’ fault.
   A few weeks ago, my gecko stopped taking crickets altogether. So I thought I no longer had a use for them. But I ended up getting several desert beetles (blue death-feigning beetles) and contrary to what Clint’s Reptiles said, I was bitten the first time I got one out. It was no picnic. So now I’m quite hesitant to hold them. Thankfully, these tongs work AMAZING! They have an excellent grip and lift the little buggies without issue, even when their little tarsal claws cling to wood or paper towels. (See attached video, special thanks to my beetle Cooper.)
   Lastly, I’m not so sure about the “glow in the dark” claim. I’ve never noticed that mine glow, but I haven’t needed them to do that for any reason. So I’m not disappointed.
   Overall, I recommend these wholeheartedly if you aren’t concerned about an aggressive feeding response turning on you. They are the perfect tool for moving insects for food or as pets.

   My little crested gecko eats his bugs very aggressively and these save him from damaging his mouth.
