I should have read the reviews. I actually don’t mind the size. The build quality is very poor. This isn’t for raising meal worms. It’s for throwing them away. It’s not a good container. First night I had about 15-20 escapees due to the mesh back. I am convinced someone made this from a dollar store container. It’s crap for the price. It’s apparently non refundable due to food safety. I’ll be fighting this. This is garbage.

WARNING! Not worth the money. I’m happy it had the mesh in-between each box layer, but the size, geeze, really, 49.99 plus tax for the small size of this. Come one now. I would send it back if I could. This item is ridiculous for the price.

The beetles are constantly getting out and I find them everywhere it works great I’m on my third Gen of mealworms its just the beetles escape very easily and is poor quality.

It’s okay, but a few of them have managed to find their way out of the enclosure. It’s a little pricey, but I didn’t want to make my own. Good ventilation.

My farm outgrew this in no time. For the few months I did have it for, it was nice and compact but was able to take a handful of worms and beetles and turn them into the thousands I have now. It is now a quarantine housing.
