These feeding tongs are great for feeding my hedgehog crickets. They give a good reach so I don’t scare her from coming at her from above and I love that I don’t have to directly handle the crickets. I have had these before for a bearded dragon and it made it a lot easier to feed him live mealworms. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for feeding tongs, I have bought these several times over the years and they last forever! I end up misplacing them before they break!

I needed a pair of feeding tongs that were not too long as my toothless wonders are in a 20 gallon long tank right now. I am frugal and didn’t want to spend over $10 for a pair of tongs and was so happy to find a known America brand at a fantastic price!
I love the glow in the dark, although not strikingly bright it is bright enough that night time feedings are easy for my toothless wonders with poor vision to see what is being offered to them. They are sturdy, the nose is not pointed and has little grid grippers to make sure your wriggling food stuffs are better secured.
The only thing I could see to be an improvement is for them to be offered in a longer size. I really don’t want to get my hands wet when I am feeding my critters and they can’t see well enough to snatch every falling morsel as they drift down.
They are not flimsy, they are made of rust prone and questionable material, the added bonus of a pleasant glow makes it easier for aging eyes and eyes with poor vision easier to locate and handle. Overall, for what I paid and the Amazon Prime next day delivery – you can’t go wrong with these tongs. If it comes out in a longer size, you bet I will pick one up!

I like that it holds its form for a very long time so the quality is amazing on this and for my pet leopard gecko who is an aggressive eater I like that the soft plastic won’t harm my pet like I feel a metal one will most likely do .. over all I am happy with the purchase … you will be too …

Love using these tongs to feed my Leopard Geckos. They are inexpensive, yet well made. I prefer plastic tongs over metal ones, bc my geckos will often bite the tongs as well when they go after a bug. The plastic protects them from hurting their mouth on a metal tong.
The only complaint I have is that they don’t last all that long. I probably go through 4-5 per year, bc eventually the plastic will wear from use and break. However, they are cheap enough that it’s not a big deal to buy a couple at a time.
