Works great to let my cats in a room but keep my dog out. Seems really sturdy. Sticks and holds to the door and door frame with no issues.

Toddler busted through it immediately, had to sew it to keep from sliding. Also not reversible (if you want to attach it on the other side of a door) without unpicking and resewing. And all that was for vain, because he figured out how to unlatch it two days later.

Thank goodness for this! We have a toy poodle who runs the house and now that we have a newborn he is all over the place and hates when doors are closed. We use this for our bedroom so the dog doesn’t wake up the baby when he jumps out of bed in the middle of the night. It was easy to install and use. Works great!

Easy to set up, but this will NOT be keeping my dog from opening the door.
I ordered this so that the door could be opened enough so that someone needing to use the door from the basement could get up if they slipped their fingers up to disengage the lock.
That works, but it’s very hard to get it open widely enough so that fingers get through, but not a dog nose.
Also, the second I went to open the door and forgot it was strapped, the entire thing came off. So, the stickies are just to affix it before screwing it.
Unfortunately, I can not screw the side that has the holes, as it has a metal corner underneath the paint/drywall. I can’t flip it around, because the only flat space is on the other side of a moulding, so the clip wouldn’t be able to be undone from the basement due to the angle. Ugh-I do not think this will stop my dog for long. She is going to figure it out long before we figure out how to get it secured permanently. Even if we superglued this, I think she will figure out how to wiggle back downstairs.
The plastic receiving end has no holes, so we will have to put holes in the plastic to get this to affix to the door. Not as easy-up as it looks in the ad. Don’t buy if you’re not a handy person.

It works as it should but the sticky part is pulling away from the surface and no one is pushing on the door in any way so that shouldn’t be happening. The previous brand I bought sent 2 pieces of stick on squares. I wish this company did as well.

Just as the title says I bought this too 1) keep the dogs from getting into the litterbox 2) still allow my cat to go do his business whenever he needs. This would work well with children too

I bought this so I could put my cat box in a utility room in my apartment that is partly finnished. I don’t want my two year old twins in there and I also don’t want them near the cat box. This works well to keep the babies out but let the cat in. My daughter has tried to force it open and has given up. It only has screw holes in the one side so if it had it in both I think it would be even stronger. I did put the screws in because I wanted to mount that side on a less than perfectly flat piece of baseboard. The door side seems to be stuck well but it did take a little time to harden the glue to full strength. If you are doing this for a child safety I would mount it once they go to bed and by morning it would be strong.

Les trappes à chats il faut faire des trous permanents, les barrières on doit trouver celle qui nous convient et avec une porte à chats c’est plus dispendieux. Bref, ce gadget est parfait! Le tape double face est de qualité, c’est du 3M. Il laisse entrer et sortir les chats, mais pas le bébé. J’en ai commandé un 2e pour notre chambre. Je le recommande!

Very cute paw print design. Easy to install and easy to use. Keeps my large dog out of the spare rooms but still allows the cat to get in and out. Took away one star because one of the stickers fell off despite proper install. So far so good.
