The picture shows that the bag contains 200 grams. It is a lie, the bag is only 100 grams! So you think you are getting a good price but you are not.

The picture shows this product as 200 grams, but the weight is listed as 3.84 ounces. The package we received is 100 grams, so 3.84 ounces is a little more than 100 grams. So confusing. Also, the ingredients were listed on my package.

This has been so nice to have available. I actually haven’t needed it yet for our indoor rescue parrots. I give it to our outdoor Peachicks as a preventative medicated mash as an anti-helminthic and anti-histomoniasis. (Will use a lot less and the 100 grams will last longer if put in food, not water).
We ran out of metronidazole and I added to our chihuahua’s food when he had diarrhea with good results.
The FDA has not approved this for use in livestock or people. For many reasons, I don’t exactly put much stock in what the FDA thinks.

This product claims in its ads I is safe for chickens. The ronidazole in the product however comes with a lifetime egg withdrawal (not supposed to eat the eggs) and is banned for use with animals used for consumption by the FDA for being a known human carcinogen.

I won’t be purchasing this product, it list for the overall health of your bird but it does not tell what diseases it treats.
