Beside my personal expectations this is small. It working great though for this baby quail. The included feeder bowl and waterer are nice and keep everything clean for the little guy.
The cage looks nice and was super easy to put together and once all in its very sturdy.
I have zero concerns about this guy escaping and more so about the family cat getting in it.

I bought it for another reason. I put my 2 little plants that Kume(my cat) kept chewing on. And they were cactus! It worked well and they grew well, plenty of light.

This is a very small carrier cage- only very small birds would be able to fit upright on the perch once assembled. That said, I use it for baby squirrels and opossums (wildlife rehabber) and it is perfect for that! Definitely sturdy enough and made well to transport these little critters from where they were discovered to a rehab cage. The space between the bars is small (which is good!) and it is easy to put a towel or blanket inside for comfort. Overall a good value if you can work with the small size.
