Item was appropriately packed for shipping in a bag in case of leaks, which is great. Mine came intact but nothing worse than some icky, sticky liquid seeping out and ruining everything else in the box when accidents happen during shipping. My day geckos and chameleon geckos all seems to be interested in and enjoyed this liquid. I offered it straight and in food, both of which was taken without issues. It seems like a small bottle but you really only need a few drops per lizards (or less if you have a smaller lizard or babies), so it’ll go a long way as a treat. It is not a food and very sugary due to the honey, so it shouldn’t be fed in large amounts. The dropper is great, it has a pleasant smell and you can put it in the fridge to keep it fresh after opening. Definitely a convenient way to change things up for you geckos and offer a little treat for enrichment.

The liquid nectar is very light in color and flavor. The smell is very light, a bit floral. Still, it attracts my two Gold Dust Day Geckos (phelsuma laticauda).
The nectar is easy to use as it dispenses in drops and has a cap when not in use.
I was unable to capture a photo of either licking at the nectar. However, I have placed drops around their tanks in various areas that they do not usually frequent. I then find them in the spots where the nectar was placed with the nectar gone.
With live prey such as crickets, the geckos have to hunt. I use small cups to place their fruit puree. So, they always know to go to a specific spot. With the nectar drops, I can give them some different mental stimulation by placing the drops in different spots for them to find.

I’m very happy with this gecko treat and would definitely buy it again. The mango papaya scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and it seems very appealing to my geckos. It’s always nice to find something they respond to right away, especially when it can be used in more than one way.
What I really like about this product is the versatility. It works well as a treat, but I also appreciate that it can be mixed with CGD or added to water for a little variety. Wow! My gecko went right to this and licked it up. He’s a picky eater and has only eaten one food since he hatched, along with crickets. I’ve tried other foods and he won’t touch them. I’m really surprised he took to this immediately! My crested gecko is 10 years old this June! We consider him a member of our family so I’m really happy to have a treat he loves. The consistency is a pretty thin liquid. I put a few drops directly on top of his food, the directions state you can mix with food, add to water, or put it in a separate dish. The squeeze bottle it comes in with the dropper tip, like a small ketchup bottle, makes it really easy to carefully measure out drops. Overall I’m really happy with this and recommend for other crested gecko owners.
