I’ve bought more expensive rugs and cheaper rugs – but in terms of value for money, this hard wearing and well made rug is unbeatable.
The fabric is thicker and feels good quality – gives good sun protection and is showerproof but my horses don’t sweat up as the mesh is very breathable. Most importantly for me, the rug stays in place (doesnt slip back or off to the side) and gives great protection against flies znd biting insects – I havent needed to use flyspray whlst using these rugs and my horses have had no bites even though they live out 24/7
The velcro closures are strong and stay closed and the centre chest straps/ring prevent rubbing. Generously made with plenty of movement allowance around the shoulders.
I highly recommend these rugs for any horse with sensitive skin that suffers from an allergic reaction to insect bites as they give maxmum protection

I wanted to try this sheet because I had heard good things about them, and because I wanted a sheet light in color to avoid overheating in the summer heat. I was also intrigued by the “self-healing” material I had read about it having. My gelding is in a pasture with large pine trees and the first day he had it on he scratched on the bark and of course made a run (like you get in tights) in the fabric in 2 places on his hind and one on the neck where it actually made a very small hole. I rubbed the spot on his neck like they do in the video I watched showing the magic of the self-healing fabric… And nothing. It did not heal. BUT… it has held up. The runs did not tear, the hole didn’t get bigger, and he is tolerating it well with the 100 degree days we have had here this week. His tail doesn’t stay in the strap but we found a way to attach to his tail boot and that fixed that. It gets beyond dirty and that’s the downside to the color, but when hosed off – it dries very quick. I would definitely buy again. In fact I bought one for my daughter’s mare and she loves it too.

I bought this on a friend’s recommendation. After using for only two weeks when it was raining, it was pretty dirty, so I put it in my washing machine. When I took it out and hung it on the line to dry, I noticed that the binding had come loose from the mesh in several places. For almost $200, I expect a product to last more than two weeks, especially those made for horses! I just tried to return, but they don’t allow returns unless the product is still in like-new condition with tags still on. Not happy.

Suber bien diseñado , cubre muy bien todo, un poco caluroso, herrajes fuertes , se ve aguantador pero apenas voy a comprobarlo y por el precio espero que así sea , se lava muy fácilmente … Sobre la talla le aumente 5cm más sobre la medida que tome por si acaso y resultó ser preciso para mí yegua……..llevo ya meses usándola y ha salido super buena de calidad, aguantadora como ninguna otra no la ha roto …los herrajes han mostrado signos de oxidarse ya con las lavadas…pero es SUPER calurosa osea que termine dejándola solo para que la use en las noches …acá hacen temperaturas de 30 centígrados así que se derretiria mi yegua allí adentro si la vistiera en el dia con ella ….

Nach mehreren Fliegendecken für mein Pferd hat sich wieder bewiesen, dass Horseware einfach die beste ist. Eine schöne leichte Decke unter die mein Pferd nicht schwitzt auch wenn es warm ist. Toll ist der sehr durchdachte Bauchverschluss, der zusätzlich noch über Klettstreifen verfügt, so dass die Decke wirklich gut sitzt. Super am Hals geschnitten, so das Fressen gut möglich ist und mein empfindliches Pferd sehr zufrieden ist

Came ahead of schedule- wow. The only blanket brand that is consistent in sizing and fit for hard to fit horses. Love love love this flysheet. Truly lightweight. Tough quality. Perfect straps and v-neck style for a big chested high withered cross draft princess. The hood is definitelyy too large… apparently built for a giraffe not a horse but whatever. A quick adjustment with some bailing twine and it’ll be near perfect. Will definitely keep buying from this brand and this seller.

This fly sheet is of very good quality. I only wish I had bought this for my other horses. Be SURE to measure properly with a tailor’s tape or like. We tried a metal tape measure at first, but it just spooked the horses and didn’t get an accurate measurement. Once we measured with a tailors tape, we found we were off by a couple inches compared to the metal one. I added up to the nearest even number when ordering and it fit. I probably should have gone up another inch or two. He has a big belly, so the velcro strips under his belly don’t come together. But the straps do just fine. and the rest of it fit perfect. It has endured his incessant rubbing and has minimal wear as a result. He doesn’t have any marks on his body from this, and I think it really helps keep this black horse stay cool in the summer. We are very sold on the Bronco line and now they will get more of our money when we upgrade the rest of our horses.

I bought this fly sheet for the 2021 season it is great at keeping flies away,….until you wash it .I sent mine out to a professional equine laundry company, and it came back completely crimped and wrinkled. And each wrinkle separated the nylon threads from the inner woven metallic wires, leaving long gaps wider than a fly would need to bite. The only care instruction says “DO NOT TUMBLE DRY COOL WASH ONLY 30° C.
30° C is 86° F which is much warmer than cool. This fly sheet was washed in 50° F (10° C) water.
Of course the end of the is well past return date. Such a waste.

My gelding suffers from sweet itch and this definitely helps. I’ve had a few fly sheets that shift or rip when he roles in turnout, but this fly sheet stays put!! It’s well put together in that the neck sheet attaches well to the body piece while remaining flexible but won’t fall off or move when grazing or rolling. The material is stiff which helps it stay put. It does get a bit warm in the summer but not too hot to remove while in the shade. This is a must have for fly season!
