We have a sliding glass door, and no place to install a cat door. The cat door for the screen is perfect for this location. But, when we have our air-conditioning on, we have to leave the sliding glass door shut, and the cat gives us side eyes.

For my small cat (6 lbs.) this product works perfectly, but it required modifications and creative adjustments to work for my big cat (12 lbs.). The weight of my big cat bumping the door over time shifted the magnets and caused the screen to collapse, so I had to add additional supports. Still, it ended up being cheaper than sourcing the materials for a DIY version. If you’re willing to put in a bit more work, the low price is worth it!

Easy to install on a screen door. The way I did it was to install the door and frame together on the screen door, (you will need tow people. One inside and one outside) then cut the opening out. The only problem with that installation procedure is that the hinges on the door that swings in and out hangs a little due to the screen can’t be cut out inside of the frame where both hinges are. But still works good enough. I think it’s a great solution for a screen porch.

Perfect fit for my Yorkies. I had a handyman install this because my door also needed a new screen. He said it was super easy to install. Nice design and sturdy. Amazon is the only place that carries these pet doors in my area. None of the pet stores or hardware stores have them. We shop a lot at Amazon for hard-to-find items and for items that are offered at a great price.
