Needed a safe space for a 5 week old kitten we found hiding in our shed. Price was right, comes with a “litter box” and scoop. Arrived quickly too.
Assembly was a pain! Picture instructions were Meh, video wasn’t any better, had to slow it down to .50 speed and we still had pieces leftover. The door\floor pieces are thin plastic- fine for tiny kitten, but when our 13lha cat took a tour you could see the floor panels bowing under the weight. Door latch hooks are a joke. Thankfully my husband has made skills. He modified the latch for top door , adding a hole and a zip tie for leverage. Doors on base level had so little gap that the latches where useless. Hubby bondo-ed a wire loop and added a refined dowel on a wire the close both doors simultaneously. The litter box is difficult to work with, it’s very shallow, and has no real structure so pulling it out is no problem getting it back in is challenging because it’s so flexy it just wants to flop all over the place. We also added carpet pieces on all horizontal surfaces.
I wouldn’t recommend this catio for grown cats, long-term use other than fostering A kitten. I would definitely go for the larger catio or add the larger catio to this catio.
For short term, and not full-time enclosure, this is fine. It is allowing us to safely contain the kitten, allows safe interaction with our big cats and gives him time with us in great room vs bedroom he’s living in till he gets much bigger.

Was hesitant to put together due to so many parts but each part came packaged separately and labeled correctly. Was a breeze to out together. Definitely a value for money.

The design is spacious and great for small pets like ferrets or puppies, but my cat managed to break the door within a day. It’s easy to assemble and looks nice indoors, but the latches could be sturdier. Might work better for lighter animals or supervised use.

Kitten broke through being 6 months old . Really don’t recommend with plastic . The cage is good but out European house kitten not good for him. He scratched the plastic parts.

I love it for what it does I used every clamp and lock that it came with because my cat is a Beast. So it’s good for now but I will need something more solid to keep my cat contained lol .

Review for PAWING Cat Enclosure. (Size: 24″L x 16″W x 35″H) Best feature; comes with a collapsable Litter Box, made to fit, perfect dimensions. The vinyl covered doors use a simple plastic clip closure, which works great, but only if the panels are perfectly aligned. The kit comes with 5 vinyl covered panels, for the floor bottoms. I oriented the cage horizontally, 3 cubes wide, by 2 cubes tall. More than 6 square feet of space. I used 3 covered panels for the bottom floor, and 2 covered panels for the 2nd floor, leaving 1 open space for him to jump. My build is 36″L x 16″W x 24″H. I have a few extra panels left over. This is exactly what I wanted. Spacious for a kitten. Light enough to easily pick up and carry to another room. The booklet provided is filled with pictures, and a parts list, but very little instructions. Customer service advises 24 hours for a response. There are 6 QR codes to scan. Scan a code, for the main instruction video. Its two and a half minutes, playing at double speed. Scan another code to see the door lock video. Their web-site could not be reached. If you want the ‘free’ hammock, you have to scan a QR code to extend the warranty, and they want your credit card info for that. It took me more than 2 hours to assemble, including time wasted trying their videos and web-site. BIG TIP; The plastic hub connectors have 2 slots, one round, and one angled. Most panels use the angled slots. During assembly, it’ll be obvious which panels match the correct slots. Best aspects; This can be customized. The covered flooring prevents accidents. The litter box is perfect, with covered panels to surround the litter box. 3 separate doors can be placed anywhere, but plan in advance and decide where doors are needed most. I put them at center bottom, center top and one door for the litter box. Assembly was a bit frustrating, but I’m very happy with the end result… and the kitten loves it. He used the litter box immediately, without having to put him inside. He’d never used a litter box before.

This is perfect cage! We use it for overnights or post vet visits or just for tjem to have a place they can go to be by themselves when they want! The instructions were not included but its easy to figure out once you look at the product information and start doing it!

EDIT-everything I said below is true. My only difficulty is now figuring out how to keep a 12 week old kitten contained!
1-It does NOT come with a hammock or food dish as shown in the pictures, had to buy them separately. Guess I should have read the details. 2-It was no more difficult to put together than any other wire and buckle products I’ve purchased before. 3-the little hammer came in handy when my hands got tired of pushing pieces in place. 4-I had extra pieces, both wire and covered. As well as assembly pieces. 5-You can only use the pictures as a guide as there are no written instructions. My phone said the QR code was extremely dangerous and Do Not open it. 6-It’s not rocket science but patience is key. 7-It’s for kittens, NOT grown cats. 8-I used the zip ties and wire buckles to reinforce, almost all of them. 9-It was $60ish dollars, a bit pricey but fits my needs. 10-For those that want Lamborghini quality this is NOT for you.
