I’m so glad these exist so I don’t have to put my babies(budgies) in those tiny cardboard boxes from the pet store when they need to be transported. The removable bottom is perfect since bird poops are frequent and usually very wet so you can easily take it out to spray it down. It also folds completely flat besides the perch which is awesome since I live in a studio and storage space is valuable real estate. 10/10 I’d buy it again(if I hadn’t gotten it as a promo)

We have a small Green Cheek Conure, Orbit, who we occasionally take to our bird sitter. I’ve used all sorts of makeshift carriers to get him there (she has her own large cages), but none have really been designed for a bird or really worked well. I also ordered two others from Amazon but they were hard sided and a bit too small for his tail feathers. This GRLEAYIE Portable Small Bird Travel Carrier actually is just the right size and it’s thoughtfully designed.
The carrier has features similar to a cat or dog carrier/stroller with netting on the side and rollup blinds. There are plenty of air holes, a nice wooden well-anchored perch, a removeable, washable polyester tray on the bottom and a carrying strap and a handle on top. The material seems solid enough, the zippers are heavy duty enough and the size is perfect for a small parrot like a conure or a parakeet.
The one thing I’m not sure about is how durable it will be. Birds are peckers and the netting in this carrier doesn’t seem indestructible. I’m hoping it will last, but I think that depends on the amount of time it’s used and how determined your bird is. For us, it’s just needed for short trips and I think it will be fine.
