I recently got the Extra Large Catio Outdoor Cat Enclosure by Rywell for my 12 lb cat, and I love it! It’s really well-made and sturdy. Putting it together was easy, and it’s so big—there’s plenty of space for my cat to play. The five entry points make it easy to access, and the enclosure is surrounded by netting, which keeps my cat safe while enjoying the outdoors. It’s perfect for the backyard, patio, camping, or even indoors. Plus, it folds up nicely and comes with a carry bag and ground stakes. Highly recommend it!

Fantastically made, easy to assemble and disassemble, pure quality, does everything it is advertised to do–and I love the storage bag. My five-year old cat, however, absolutely refuses to go in it and especially does not like the flexible hammock features when I have put him in by hand at the top door flaps to work his way down. I loved all the different openings for his escape as they gave me many placement options and he’s both indoor / outdoor now. He was a stray who slowly acclimated to our house. I thought this would give him great weather and coyote protection on our rural porch before he learned to love our house. Even after fully taming him, he still does not enjoy it and would rather sit on a chair outside. It did not work out for our cat sitter to put his food inside the tent–nothing would coax him into the enclosure even though it is large, spacious, and shaded. We zip tied it at the base by coming up under our deck, and I appreciated the rivet openings that allowed me to secure it (so it would not blow away). Other cats may love it but mine does not. Anyway–it is not unsightly and I’m pretty picky about what I will put on my deck. It nestled nicely against glass and lattice and sort of disappeared from sight against the backdrop of all our trees.

I got this product because my cats like to go outside but I get scared that they’ll run away. This is perfect because they can explore but it also gives me some peace of mind. For the price, I think it is a great value and super functional. It would be great to bring on trips to the park or camping. It’s 3 levels and each one has a perch for your cat that likes to climb. I love the design. It’s durable and portable. It even has a carrying case which is great and compact. I would definitely get another one if anything happens to this one. I put a cat scratcher and a towel down for my cats and they really enjoyed watching the birds. It has multiple entry points in case you’re trying to remove your cat from the tent and they’re running from you. If you’re looking for a cat patio but aren’t ready to commit to one, I would recommend getting a tent and trying it out to see if your cats like the idea first.

But I was! The item is great but my cat hates it haha however it’s pretty durable against her angry claws of disagreement 😂 sets up easy and has good amount of room. Wish the “shelves” could be a bit more sturdy but thats just a me thing

Our two cats love this. We have safe area on our patio for them and this tent is the perfect addition, they prefer to hang out in the cat tent more than anywhere else. They enjoy laying on the two upper levels because hammock like feel of them. They sit in there all day and relax, bird watch, bathe, and sleep. Usually they hate being enclosed but they are free to come and go and I’m surprised how much they like to be in it. We put different toys and blankets in there for them from time to time. The secondary window can attach to cat tunnels with a zipper. The quality of the tent has been great and I was very impressed by how easily it assembled and how sturdy it was, this Rywell tent having steel beams instead of aluminum seems to make a big difference in the sturdiness. The mesh itself seems pretty strong too. For traveling cats the ability to collapse and store it in the bag would be awesome. We’re so glad our cats love this and we love it too! (Yes I got curious and crawled inside once… 😅 it is big enough for a human to crawl inside)

Definitely worth it. Easy to open and put up, my 2 cats fit comfortably in there and they have enough space to move around. It’s sturdy and I don’t have any worries about them knocking it over!
