I took in my small elderly family cat (8lbs-) this year and I already have two big cats and the introduction process has been unsuccessful. We bought this for step 3 of introducing our cats. It’s perfect for that; my 14 year old cat just does not want to integrate. She owns the guest bedroom and sometimes I use it so she can expand her view, make more failed attempts to socialize her, or to let the breeze flow more freely in the nicer months. This was easy to install with the adhesive velcro and covers the entire doorframe. My one cat has (over time) started to bite at the corners. He is tenacious and unusually strong. He also has a thing for chewing on whatever he is focused on that day. He is very sweet and VERY social with all animals. He is so interested in meeting her, even with all the nomming on it, it has held up very well through the scratching for both my big cats (12+lbs). I have had this for over 8 months and I’m honestly impressed. Whatever the mesh is made out of is doing its job well, in my opinion.

We bought this so we could leave the front door open and get a good cross breeze through our house, and it’s perfect! For extra strength, you can do what I did and temporarily remove the moulding around a doorframe and sandwich the screen between it and the wall. It’s now solidly in place and we have no worries about our cats getting out!

This item was NOT cat proof. The cats scratched through it and accessed the other side within an hour. It was a total waste of money.

The quality was doing great until this past month where one zipper broke off after it started to split while zipping. Now the sole remaining zipper is also splitting when im trying to open/close it. And after trying to fix the last zipper the durability of it couldn’t handle it anymore and broke so now im not going to try with the last zipper. I gotten about 2 months use out of it before this issue happened.
Otherwise with my kittens trying like crazy to jump on it and out of it the netting was holding up fine. Issues were the zippers

This is great. I placed in the doorway of the furnace room. We took the door off for added air circulation, and this allows airflow and it keeps the cat out!

I have a pet boarding business and this screen door works great. I use it to keep cats from getting out of the rooms they’re occupying. You can open the room door and since the screen has a zipper you can keep the screen closed and the cats secured in their rooms.

My cat busted through it within 5 minutes of having it put up. The stickers aren’t strong and will come off of the doorframe if the cats pull at it. Also didn’t come with enough tape, so part of it isn’t attached to the door.

This summer, i purchased BFN’s Extra Tall Cat-Proof Mesh Gate Screen Door for the cat introduction of my two cats, (which is still ongoing as we speak.) This worked perfectly and fit across my bedroom door. It’s easy to assemble with the tape and the tacks to keep it in place. Perfect for cat protection between a resident cat and new cat for however long it takes. The quality is good and durable, and a great value for your money. I recently took it down because my resident cat didn’t like it this fall.

Bought this to keep two male cats separated. Last step in the introduction phase for them. Works good and it helps to let me see and smell each other without me worrying about one of them getting hurt in a fight. Easy to put together, I started at the bottom and worked my way up the door frame. Fit was perfect and the Velcro smoother tool was cool and very useful. Used the nails to keep it really sturdy. I bought this to put on a basement door. I foster kittens and the airflow to this room is nonexistant. The kittens are small but they constantly climb this screen. It’s sturdy and it does exactly what I need it to do, keep them in and let the air flow to keep it cool in that room. It attaches with a velcro tape to the wall and additional long thumbtaxks help secure it. It’s not made for big or aggressive cats that will get out. I cannot imagine it would keep a dog in unless it was very small. But it keeps my kittens in perfe tly and gives them something to climb. Zipper is still working after a week. It seems well made. It was very easy to install. It keeps flies and mosquitoes out. It works so well, highly recommend
